Downtown Tucson is becoming a vibrant center for Restaurants, Coffee shops, Condos, the Arts, and future shopping.

Many people are looking to move to the downtown area, but housing has become limited and we are experiencing increased interests in the area. The Mercado District has always been fascinating to me, and was started when the market was experiencing great growth in the height of the real estate market.

The Market itself is open and being used. A first cless restaurnt and also a fast food Taco and burrito shop, a bakery and other things have moved into the area. Augustin’s is providing a great setting for people to come and experience the Mercado area.

The Mercado was designed to foster small business growth, and also foster an authentic Tucson urban neighborhood. There are plans for a mixed use setting of Commercial and Residential Buildings that are currently in the works from three builders. Purebuild homes, Innovative Design Homes, and also Tucson Artisan Builders. All build a quality home, with numerous high standard features.

If you are looking to live down twown, then the Mercado si definitely a place that you would want to visit, and see what is happening in the development. With the Modern Street car ending there, then there will be great access to all the University of Arizona events and all that is going on Downtown.

How is the Tucson Real Estate Market …., Februaury 2013

Have you been wondering how the Tucson Real Estate Market is doing?

I would challenge people to just look around. Well priced homes are selling with multiple offers, in every price range.

We are also seeing commercial buildings and custom homes being built in all areas.

New home companies have opened their doors with new development showing up around the city.

We seem to be over the hump as far as the housing recession, and even the downtown seems to be buzzing.

If you have any doubt that Tucson is back on the map, then take a visit downtown to see the new construction coming our way to make the city a great place to live.

I was downtown last night and it was buzzing with life for all ages, a refreshing change from times gone by………….
